JASA BRIEFING FOR FCCM MEMBERS

The Department of Special Affairs (JASA) director general Fuad Hassan briefed FCCM members on government policy and current issues.

Fuad answered questions on a wide range of issues -- from security concerns stemming from the appeal of IS to domestic law reforms including the abolition of ISA and planned changes to the Sedition Act. Former IGP Musa Hassan was also present at the briefing.

The dinner briefing was held at Bankers Club on November 20.

Government think tank JASA -- under the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia  -- creates awareness about political and religious issues through talks and publications for the community and channels feedback to the government.
