Macro Kiosk, Asia's largest mobile messaging technology company, hosted FCCM's August Social Mixer on August 1 at Bridge Bar at GTower in Kuala Lumpur. It was a lively evening for FCCM members and guests who got to learn more about Macro Kiosk and meet the three brothers who founded the company in 2000: CEO Kenny Goh, COO Henry Goh and CCO C.S. Goh.
Macro Kiosk specialises in mobile services and mobile monetisation. As such, the firm has worked with one of Malaysia's largest retail banks to pioneer the Transaction Authorization Code (TAC) for online and mobile banking transactions in Malaysia – a service that is now applied by 16 local and international banks. It also enables Facebook users to buy credits to play games and charge that directly to their mobile phone bills.
Today Macro Kiosk enjoys a presence in 14 countries. The company was named as Red Herring Top 100 Global Company Award Winner last year, an award that highlights exciting start-ups from Asia, Europe and the Americas.
