FCCM and Bangkok-based Freeland Foundation held a special screening and discussion of National Geographic's groundbreaking TV series, “Crimes Against Nature”, which portrays ongoing efforts by enforcement agencies collaborating with local conservationists to curb organised wildlife crime in Southeast Asia. The TV series covers the timely topic of illegal trade in ivory, tigers and other species in the region. Freeland's representative Steve Galster and several Thai police officers, who were featured in the series, discussed the relevance of the their work to Malaysia, Thailand and other regional countries with FCCM after the screening.
